About Hearing Charities of Americaarticle-image

Hearing Charities of America (HCOA) supports those who are deaf or hard of hearing. We strive to expand awareness, volunteerism, and philanthropy. We provide resources for hearing professionals, manufacturers and individuals with hearing issues. We do this through three cohesive activities:

  1. Awareness
  2. Advocacy
  3. Scholarships and Grants

These activities support HCOA’s mission of commitment to communication in every community. The activities of HCOA and those of the organizations we support are limited to charitable, religious, educational and scientific purposes, including making distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law).

Our mission: creating a hearing healthy world through collaborations and raising awareness.

Hearing Charities of America connects those who need information, education, hearing health services and assistive devices to those who can help meet their needs. Everyone from audiologists, not-for-profit organizations, device manufacturers, school teachers and everyone in between is encouraged to participate in our programs, use our services and call on us as your primary resource of support in raising awareness of hearing health issues.
